Staff and residents at Point Cook Manor aged care home in had a wonderful time celebrating Christmas in July. More than 100 Residents and staff took part in this celebration for the first time. The Staff dressed up in a Winter Wonderland Theme adorning beautiful fairy princess costumes, with even a Tiara and crown jewels to be seen!
A Master of Ceremonies entertained the residents by playing Christmas tunes with staff and residents alike singing along. The Dining and meeting areas were decked out with White Christmas decorations including small white Christmas trees. One of the carers even bought and put together stunning posies of flowers for each of the tables in the dining areas.
Lunch was served with full Christmas trimings! Roast Turkey & Ham, Roast Vegetables and of course Plum Pudding and Brandy Sauce.
A big thank you to our dedicated staff for making Christmas in July so enjoyable for our residents and to our wonderful residents who participated with just as much enthusiasm!
