Welcome to Ferndale Gardens, well known in the community for offering exemplary care in a spacious and modern built facility for 114 residents. Our home is located on Bayswater Road, not too far from Eastlink, with Ringwood, Bayswater and the local Eastland shopping centres all located nearby, providing an extensive range of shops, cafes, entertainment and essential services. Maroondah Hospital is also only a short distance away, should the need arise. Public transport will bring you right to our doorstep, with trains to Bayswater station and the connecting 664 bus service.
Ferndale offers single rooms with ensuites and master suites for couples, all with ample space for personal furnishings and keepsakes. A choice of several room types enables residents to select the accommodation that meets their needs and budget.

Room Pricing
The Accommodation Payment (cost of the room) can be funded as a RAD (Refundable Accommodation Deposit), DAP (Daily Accommodation Deposit) or a combination of both.
Not all residents are required to pay for their accommodation, those with Low Means may be eligible for assistance from the Government as a Fully Supported or Partially supported resident.
Please use the calculator below to determine the RAD/DAP/combination costs on your chosen room. To calculate the DAP on a combination payment, please enter the RAD amount you wish to pay.

Ferndale Gardens is the latest aged care home in Victoria to offer an award-winning rehabilitation program provided by Concentric in our specially designed gym. Concentric’s services are tailored to each individual resident to achieve outcomes such as increased social participation, increased strength, mobility and balance, and most importantly the program is proven to decrease functional decline.
The wellness package includes;
- Comprehensive initial assessment
- Individually tailored exercise programs
- A combination of one-on-one and group exercise classes
- Unlimited access to the gym during supervised hours
- Reassessment every 3 months where progress and program are reviewed
- Quarterly case conferences with family as requested
On admission, the Homestyle Client Services Officer will introduce you to the Concentric team who will discuss which physical rehabilitation program will suit you or your loved one after a thorough initial physical assessment. Our Homestyle staff continue to work together with the Concentric team to achieve the best possible outcome for each resident during their time at Ferndale Gardens.
